Historic Tour 1: Museum
What you see today is the Sand Springs Cultural and Historical Museum.

Sand Springs Museum

Built in 1930 as the Page Memorial Library, this building honors wife of Charles Page, Lucile.

Historic Page Library    Lucile Page

The art deco exterior is stucco and concrete.  The center window is bronze.  Per Mrs. Page's request, the window is to remain undraped so that the light from the library will spill out to her husband's statue on the Triangle.  The building was listed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1999.

The interior details are just as exquisite.  The art deco theme continues, featuring a cork floor and incredible chandelier pieces from former industry leader, Empire Chandelier in Sand Springs.
